Another few sessions on the planning chapter – this has been the toughest so far. However, I’m really pleased with how it’s shaping up and I think people will find it useful. On an exciting note, the evolving book can now be purchased at an early bird discount.

Been working hard on the chapter on planning your podcast today. I had to refactor a lot of the chapter because I was not happy with it. But I think I have come up with a nice approach to podcast planning. It’s amazing how writing a book can consolidate your thoughts and knowledge on a subject. I’d always had areas of podcast planning I found tricky – by reading my own book I think those days might just be over!

Beavering away. Draft 3 went out for feedback last week. The feedback on the drawings so far has been good. I think the book will end up having lots of these, I believe a picture tells a thousand words. I’ve decided I want the book finished by April next year. This means that if it ends up with 100,000 words (fairly typical for your average book), I’ll need to write about 15,000 words a month between now and then. Lets see how it goes.
Slight delay on the payment integration – should be there by next week.
